So, you just went out and bought that awesome rod built by Fenwick, matched it up with Shimano Baitrunner
spooled with fresh 20 pound of Maximas finest and you pin on a lively 'chovie.  You're out on one of San Diegos
finest and looking for a little Yellowtail action.  You lob the bait out into the swells and it ain't long before a spirited
'tail gulps it up and runs.  Woooohoo, you haul back, set the hook and instantly feel the line go taut.  Just about the
time you prepare to do battle with this baby your line goes slack.  Damn, how the hell did he get loose?  You bring in
the slack line only to find out that the hook straightened out.  What???
Well buddy, thats what you get for skimping on ....
"The Terminal Tackle"

Folks, if you're going to spend all that money on the finest rod & reel then why in the world are you going to buy
cheap hooks or swivels?  We're probably all guilty of it and it took loosing a few fish before we finally learned our
lessons.  Just like anything else the terminal tackle plays a very huge part in the battle of  "El Mano vs. El Fisho"

Every single piece of hardware used on your outfit must be the best available right down to the swivels.  Wire will
bend and break, lines will stretch and pop and reels will freeze up when you least expect it.  You guys get the
picture, put that 39 cent pack of Kmart special bait hooks back on the shelf where you found it and invest the few
dollars more for a superior product.  That's what this section is all about, The Terminal Tackle.

This page is dedicated to the Hooks, Swivels and other Terminal Tackle that I may have found, tried and truly believe in.
